Russian day at GasTech 2012

On 8-11 October 2012 the 26th GasTech international exhibition and conference on natural gas, liquefied natural gas and petroleum gas issues will be organised in London at the ExCeL exhibition centre. The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation is bringing an integrated national stand of Russia. Large energy companies from a number of Russian regions are planning to take part.
On 9 October 2012 a special “Russian Day” will be held within the framework of this exhibition, supported by the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Russian Embassy and the Russian Trade Delegation with the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Mr Alexander Novak and Deputy Minister of Energy Mr Pavel Fedorov planning to take part. Some of the largest Russian energy companies will be participating in this event, including Gazprom, TREI, Sakhalin Energy, SIBUR, as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, business and academia.
The discussions will focus on the strategy of gas industry development in Russia, investment projects in this area, role of Russia in ensuring global energy security, the Moscow International Financial Centre in Moscow project as a driver for Russian energy sector modernisation, as well as issues of environmental protection.
